Job Summary: Demonstrates 24-hour responsibility and accountability for practice, and quality of care and services within assigned department.
What you will do in this role:
- Provides leadership of the Cardiac/Cath and EP clinical services and programs.
- Ensures the selection, retention, and assignment of competent workforce.
- Demonstrates accountability for clinical practice, services, and administrative activities.
- Maintains and monitors utilization of resources and department protocols.
- Manages staff performance through regular review and performance planning.
- Ensures provision of quality services by maintaining appropriate resources and staffing levels.
- Develops and fosters effective collaboration between clinical departments and physicians.
What qualifications you will need:
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support.
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, or Advance Practice Registered Nurse (APRN), or Registered Nurse, or State Registered Radiologic Technician.
