Baptist Medical Center is looking to add a CT Technologist to our CT Scan department at Baptist Medical Center located in Jacksonville, Florida. The CT Technologist will work the Full-Time shift of Sunday, 7:00pm - 7:30am, Monday - Wednesday, 11:00pm - 7:30am. This CT Technologist will be responsible for performing CT scans on patients, ensuring high quality images and patient safety. The CT Technologist will work closely with Radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely diagnostic information. In addition to performing CT scans, this CT Technologist will prepare patients for CT scans, explain the procedure, and position patients correctly. This CT Technologist will operate CT equipment and adjust settings to obtain high quality images. This CT Technologist will participate in call.
This CT Technologist will be responsible for the following:
- Performing high quality (CT) procedures.
- Promoting good will amongst co-workers and other departments and has a positive, comforting demeanor with all patients.
- Maintain compliance with mandatory education and health requirements.
- Identifying, preparing, administering, and documenting medications as prescribed by a licensed practitioner in accordance with state and federal regulations or lawful institutional policy.
