Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers, Colorado's largest and most comprehensive provider of cancer care has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Nurse Supervisor in Boulder.

Salary Range: $95,000.00-$110,000.00

Responsibilities
Oversees the clinical operations for all nursing clinical support activities.
Establishes and maintains all nursing personnel files.
Ensures all licensing and certification criteria are met.
Assists with the review and revision of clinical policies and procedures.
Ensures adequate staffing/FTEs for assigned clinics and maintains effective nursing staff coverage and operating costs for the practice and/or satellites within budgetary parameters.
Participates in the interviewing and recruiting of nursing personnel.
Performs tasks assigned to staff nurses as necessary.
Demonstrates working knowledge of applicable labor laws and schedules and coordinates employee staffing including vacations, sick leave, and overtime.
Monitors and evaluates patient satisfaction and quality assurance measures.
Directs the correct use of charge codes and coordinates education of all staff in correct procedures per reimbursement guidelines.
Develops new services and activities for patients, families, and staff in accordance with practice service objectives.
Implements staff retention and training programs with support from clinic leads.
Coordinates, implements, and assists with staff training, in-services, and internal developmental programs for nursing staff.
Assists with annual performance evaluations for nursing department staff.
Serves as mentor/preceptor and provides day-to-day guidance to less experienced nurses.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Job Qualifications:
(Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities):
Education/Training: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, BSN or MSN preferred, RN state license and current registration with the State Board of Nursing in practicing state. Current CPR certification required.
Business Experience: Minimum five years actively practicing as a registered nurse, including at least three years oncology experience. One year leadership experience preferred.
Specialized Knowledge/Skills: Oncology certification preferred. Chemotherapy Immunotherapy provider card preferred.
Working Conditions: Traditional office environment. Physical Requirements: Large percent of time performing computer-based work is required. Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination. Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time. Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 40 lbs. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
