The Department of Psychiatry at Dartmouth Health and the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth is seeking a doctoral level Psychologist with strong clinical, research and teaching interests to join our faculty and serve patients at New Hampshire Hospital, our affiliated state psychiatric facility located in Concord, New Hampshire.
In this role, you would work with an engaged, multidisciplinary team and motivated faculty to provide state-of-the-art psychological services to people with severe behavioral health illnesses in an inpatient setting.
The ideal candidate will be a skilled clinical psychologist who would be excited to join an inpatient psychology team. New Hampshire Hospital clinical psychologists provide consultation, general psychological assessments, behavior plan management, and psychotherapy to the most severely mentally ill patients in the state. Our psychology department is a valued service that our treatment teams rely on for accurate diagnosis and recommendations. Affiliation with the Department of Psychology permits collaboration with research and education. We train psychology interns and work closely with education programs in several disciplines. Experience with mixed methods research is preferred.

Specialized diagnostic and therapeutic services are provided for 2000 patients each year, keeping our 168 beds full.
