Community Behavioral Health Clinic Director

Position Summary:

The Community Behavioral Health Clinic Director is responsible for overall leadership of the assigned location and serves as the primary contact for the assigned site. This includes tactical implementation, adherence to all certification standards, grant reporting, and creating a culture that is client centered.

Job Duties:

Provide direction and oversight to all departments within the assigned location, exercising discretion and independent judgment to ensure effective communication, consistency, and alignment with organizational objectives.
Oversee all location specific community outreach for assigned location, including presentations, tours, participation in community events, etc.
Evaluate and pursue new service delivery partnerships and growth opportunities, applying discretion in assessing potential collaborations and negotiating agreements to expand organizational reach and impact.
Ensure outcomes and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are met, improvement plans are developed and implemented. Monitor progress towards goals and objectives of the project.
Prepare and ensure accurate reporting to funders and auditors within specified timeframes.
Create, manage, and monitor budgeted revenues and expenditures as established in the annual budget in collaboration with finance leadership team members.
Oversee site-specific logistics, making decisions to ensure a welcoming, safe, and healthy environment for staff and clients while optimizing facility resources.
Identify, coordinate, implement, and oversee programs, including writing grant proposals and contracts for new/expanded services in collaboration with leadership to meet standards.
Provide insightful input to supervisors on staff performance, drawing on best practices and judgment to assess strengths and areas for improvement and inform decision-making regarding personnel management.
Maintain quality improvement practices, standards, and outcomes set by state/federal laws & regulations, organizational policies and procedures, Council on Accreditation (COA), & CCBHC including quality reporting, governance, staffing, access to care, care coordination, outcomes, etc.
Serve on various committees for behavioral health at the local, state, and national levels.
Advocate for behavioral health consumers and policies in collaboration with executive management.
Other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Business Administration or related field is required. Master’s Degree preferred.
Two years’ behavioral health or community outreach experience is required.
Two years’ leadership experience is required; experience leading diverse and geographically dispersed teams is preferred.
Demonstrated knowledge of social issues, community organization, and social advocacy.
Valid driver’s license, proof of liability auto insurance, & the ability to drive/travel, as needed.

Physical Requirements:

Laptop and company-issued cell phone.
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Hybrid work environment (in-office, field environment, Zoom/telehealth, and/or remote).
Reliable transportation to various office locations to support business operations as needed.
Work flexible hours to meet community needs, including evenings and weekends.
