Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will embody our commitment to community care and demonstrate strong leadership in a family-oriented and supportive work environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Management: Oversee daily pharmacy operations, including staff supervision, workflow management, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Patient Care: Provide high-quality pharmaceutical care, including medication dispensing, patient counseling, and medication therapy management. Build and maintain strong relationships with patients and healthcare providers.
- Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, place orders, and ensure the pharmacy is well-stocked with necessary medications and supplies. Monitor and manage stock to minimize waste and optimize efficiency.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to safety protocols, accuracy in medication dispensing, and compliance with federal and state regulations. Conduct regular audits and implement improvements as needed.
- Community Engagement: Participate in local community events and initiatives to promote health and wellness and build local relationships. Develop programs and services that address the specific needs of our rural population.
Qualifications:
- Education & Licensure: Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree or equivalent. Current and valid pharmacy license in the state of Nebraska (or able to obtain).
- Experience: Previous experience in a pharmacy management role preferred. Experience working in a rural or independently owned pharmacy is a plus.
- Skills: Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency with pharmacy management software and technology.
