Compensation:
Pay Range: $63,875.00 - $103,800.00 / year. UAB Spain Rehabilitation Center is opening an 11-story, state-of-the-art inpatient rehabilitation pavilion in spring 2025. The new hospital will include 78 rehabilitation beds and the latest technology – all designed to promote functional activity at every turn. Our team of highly skilled therapists practice in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, providing comprehensive, evidence-based care that’s focused on each patient and their road to recovery. We support professional clinical development by empowering our clinicians through mentorship and other growth opportunities that elevate our standard of care. Job Description:
To diagnose, evaluate and treat individuals with communications problems such as speech, language fluency, and swallowing disorders. To develop and implement therapeutic speech and language development programs and services.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement. Licensed or eligible to be licensed by the Alabama Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology (ABESPA) required. Must complete clinical fellowship and receive Certificate of Clinical Competence within designated timeframe. Currently certified with Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) required.
