The Radiologic Technologist operates X-ray equipment to assist in the diagnoses of various diseases, ailments, and injuries.
This is a full-time Radiologic Technologist role with a Monday – Friday schedule of 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (subject to change). This role will provide primary services at our Woodbury (Woodlake) Campus with the ability to float to other Summit sites as needed. Qualified candidates must be a graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology and must have current ARRT registration.
Responsibilities
- Fluent in digital radiology technology.
- Possess advanced computer skills, including working knowledge of multiple computer applications and equipment, such as PACS, Digitizer, Outlook, EMR, and EPM.
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills.
- Knowledge of HIPAA and other privacy regulations.
- Experience in medical office and exam room settings.
- Frequent exposure to communicable diseases.
- Frequent contact with a variety of people. Exposure to equipment noise for extended periods of time.

Required: Basic Life Support
Education
Required: Associates in Radiologic Technology
Experience
Preferred: 1 year in a health care setting preferred. Courses in anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology preferred. One to three years of experience as an X-ray technologist, preferably in a physician practice environment. Associate’s degree in radiological technology from an accredited radiography program. American Registry of Radiologic Technologist registration required.
