(Only QUALIFIED Healthcare Professionals accepted) Physician Assistant - Physician Assistant OR Nurse Practitioner Montrose, CO (1 hr SE of Grand Junction)
We are looking for a motivated Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our integrated medical practice full-time in Montrose, CO. Our ideal PA|NP is holistically minded, comfortable working within an integrated setting, collaborating with a knowledgeable and well-respected team of professionals to offer a comprehensive approach to patients living with acute|chronic health issues, as well as health and wellness goals.
Duties:
- Patient exam|evaluation - medical, orthopedic, and functional examinations (medical history, physical exam, review pertinent med records|imaging)
- Order and review tests|labs
- Diagnosis and treatment plan formulation
- Patient education as to diagnosis, treatment options, rehab|exercises and various modalities
- Manage patient care - common services include allergy testing|immunotherapy, labs, prescriptions, and DME|bracing
- Treatments - trigger point|myotendinous injections, joint injections, Regenerative|PRP injections, initiate IVs, and supervising our diabetes program
- Documentation and progress notes
- Collaboration with the multidisciplinary team for comprehensive patient care
- Monitor patient progress by performing progress exams and documenting any changes to provider orders based upon patient health goals.
Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
- PA|NP license in CO
- Orthopedic, Physical Med and Rehab, Neuro, Diabetes management or Pain management background is a plus (we will train in any|all areas needed for the right candidate)
- DEA number
- 2 years clinical experience as a PA|NP preferred
Compensation:
$115k- $125k per year, plus bonus potential (DOE)
Schedule:
M, T, Th, 8:00am - 5:30pm; Wed and Fri, 8:00am - 2:00pm.
