Responsibilities
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Assisting the dentist during examination and treatment
- Reassuring and comforting patients, especially children
- Counseling patients and parents on proper oral hygiene and plaque control
- Answering phones, scheduling appointments, performing insurance verifications
- Other front office/administrative tasks as needed
Experience
One year experience in a dental office preferred
License/Certification
California licensed Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) preferred
