Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team providing home-based ABA services. The ideal candidate will have experience in behavioral health working with individuals with autism, have reliable transportation, and be fluent in Spanish. As a Behavior Technician, you will play a crucial role in implementing behavior plans and providing support to individuals in need.
Duties:
- Implement behavior intervention plans as directed by the supervisor
- Collect data on individual behaviors during sessions
- Assist in the development of care plans and goals
- Provide behavioral therapy to individuals with autism
- Help individuals with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical documentation and records
- Utilize behavior management techniques effectively
Experience:
- Prior experience in special education or behavioral health is preferred
- Familiarity with medical documentation and medical records
- Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques
- Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder
- Ability to follow care plans and behavioral intervention strategies
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team
