Practice Overview
Our client has been serving the greater Bolton area since 1953. They are an AAHA-accredited practice and take immense pride in providing the highest quality standard of medicine to their patients. Their unwavering loyalty and support for their team is evident in the outstanding tenure of their staff. For those who desire it, mentorship is easily accessible to everyone to ensure their staff's continuous success and growth. Amongst the services they provide they offer acupuncture as well as low-level laser therapy. If you enjoy a variety of caseloads this practice will see anywhere from general practice, to urgent care, and emergency cases. They are in a state-of-the-art facility with all the bells and whistles. They provide an in-house laboratory with digital cytology, full oxygen cages with climate control, endoscope, dental suites, in-house ultrasound just under a specialist level, access to in-house internal medicine specialists, digital X-ray and dental, ECG services on site, and right down the road is their dedicated dental facility.
What You’ll Be Working On
- Diagnose, treat, and manage a variety of small animal cases; perform general wellness exams and surgeries.
- Maintain a high level of client communication and patient care.
- Maintain a positive work environment.
- Collaborate with team members on patient care.
- Educate clients on proper care for their pets.
- Create patient treatment plans.
Qualifications
- Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from an accredited program is required.
- Being licensed or able to become licensed in the state of Connecticut is required.
- New graduates are welcome to apply!
- Ability to work with other staff members.
- Strong surgical skills.
- Prior experience working in general practice, urgent care, or emergency.
- Highly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for continuous education.
- Create and provide appropriate recommendations for a preventative care plan.
- Continuous building of client and patient relationships.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
