POSITION SUMMARY
The Bilingual Integrated Health Care/Outpatient Clinician provides clinical and case management services for children and adults across the lifespan in an integrated health care setting that provides primary care, behavioral health and dental services. The Bilingual Integrated Health Care/Outpatient Clinician will foster positive working relationships with co-workers, clients and external key stakeholders.

Eligible for up to $250,000 in loan repayment through National Health Service Corp (NHSC).
**Bilingual clinician required. Must be able to speak both Spanish and English. Bilingual Stipend (Spanish and English) $4,576 Annually.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work or related license
eligible field or a doctoral degree in Psychology is required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Works as part of a multidisciplinary team to efficiently and effectively meet the behavioral, primary, and dental health needs of the client, including, but not limited to: providing behavioral health consultation to the primary care provider, assisting client in meeting medical treatment compliance, and referring client to other Wheeler services and/or other community services as needed.
Conductsprogram specific screening and evaluation and formulates diagnosis inaccordance with the Diagnostic Statistical Manual (DSM).
Develops and documents, clear clinical formulations and treatment plans that are individualized and measurable, developed in collaboration with the client/family and others as relevant, using behavioral health screening as directed, and are inclusive of behavioral health, primary care, and dental goals as indicated.
Demonstrates knowledge of psychopathology and primary modalities of psychotherapy, including individual, group and family.
Correctly triages clinical emergencies, including suicide and danger to others.
Uses best practices and evidenced based practice models for psychotherapy where appropriate.
Makes effective use of topic oriented, focused, time-limited group therapy.
Provides or refers to group when required.
Demonstrates knowledge of the use of psychotropic medications.
Completes clinical documentation in timely manner.
Engages in facilitating group (outpatient or intensive outpatient) as well as seeing patients across the lifespan when necessary.
Demonstrates knowledge of internal and external levels of care, referral processes and resources. Makes clinically appropriate referrals for identified service needs in a timely manner.
Communicates in a positive, effective manner with client, family, and all internal and external providers.
Attends any required meetings and multidisciplinary treatment team planning meeting.
Meets direct service productivity goals as defined by program.
Demonstrates knowledge of program/department/agency goals and target outcomes, and adheres to practice standards and to data collection and reporting protocols.
Documents all client related information in compliance with agency policy.
Attends and is prepared for scheduled supervision. Seeks additional supervision or consultation as needed and follows through with supervisory directives.
Interfaces and collaborates with community providers to provide positive system development for clients and families, to promote Wheeler Clinic's reputation as a quality service provider.
Provides culturally competent care and maintains sensitivity to and respect for clients' cultural traditions, values, and beliefs.
Reports child abuse/neglect as mandated, adheres to confidentiality guidelines and ensures that the program meets all necessary licensing, regulatory, and accreditation standards, as related to the program, staff, records, facility, and care of youth.
Continues to develop knowledge and understanding about the history, traditions, values, family systems, and artistic expression of groups served as well as uses appropriate methodological approaches, skills, and techniques that reflect an understanding of culture.
