Job Title: Nurse Manager
Location: Lakeland, Florida
Salary: $60K - $65K per year (based on experience)
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Nurse Manager to join our team as a responsible caregiver for our memory care neighborhood in Lakeland, Florida. As a Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the community, ensuring that our seniors receive the highest quality of care and services.
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to our residents and staff
- Ensure that our seniors receive the best possible care
- Work closely with our team of healthcare professionals to ensure that our residents receive the best possible care
- Manage and supervise the nursing staff
- Develop and implement care plans for residents
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Participate in the hiring and training of new staff members
- Manage the budget for the nursing department
- Participate in on-call rotation
Requirements:
- Active nursing license in the state of Florida
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a nursing management role
- Experience working with seniors and individuals with memory care needs
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to nursing care
- Ability to manage and supervise nursing staff
- Strong organizational and time management skills
