Position Summary:
The Biology department at AACC is looking for part-time faculty for classroom instruction. We are accepting applications in:
- Botany
- Environmental Sciences
- General Biology
- Genetics
We're looking for instructors that are enthusiastic and engaging with students, and willing to be a team player with other full-time and adjunct faculty members.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Teach assigned class(es) in accordance with expectations specified by the department chair.
- Assess student progress in meeting the learning objectives through formal and informal assessment.
- Adhere to safety procedures and departmental standards.
- Meet required deadlines for submitting grades, attendance, and other information, as requested.
Required Qualifications:
Master’s degree or higher in the discipline or a closely related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
Teaching experience preferred.
