Required License/Registration/Certification: Kentucky State Radiation Operators License + American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT RT) + Basic Life Support (BLS) at time of hire; plus Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Cardiac Life Support (PALS) and Certified EKG Technician (CET) within 6 months of hire.
Physical Requirements: This position requires the ability to regularly lift, push, and/or pull objects weighing up to and over 50 lbs.; occasionally stand or walk with objects weighing up to 25 lbs.; regularly perform tasks requiring repetitive motions; and occasionally sit at a computer workstation for an extended period of time.
Shift: Four 10-hour shifts, 7:00am – 5:30pm; Call coverage required including weekends and holidays, 30 minute call back requirement.
Job Summary: Cardiac Cath and EP Technologist will demonstrate knowledge of Interventional, Structural, Pediatric, and Electrophysiology procedures. Technologist will scrub/assist the physician during diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac and Peripheral angiographic studies. The technologist is also able to record and monitor procedures and demonstrate understanding of hemodynamic measurements and readings from the valve areas. Technologist will provide adequate call coverage per departmental need.

Preferred Education/Experience: Preferred Cardiac Cath/EP experience but any rad tech experience is acceptable.
