JOB DESCRIPTION:
Uses passion for clinical informatics to work collaboratively with Clinical Informatics staff, Information Technology staff, and users of clinical information systems. Provides assistance for planning and administering information operations for clinical departments as assigned. Responsible for coordinating aspects of planning, design, development, implementation, maintenance, and evaluation of clinical information systems as assigned. Utilizes the knowledge and skills of clinical practice to assist in the selection, design, and implementation of clinical information systems as consistent with professional standards of clinical practice.
Education: BSN or related health care bachelor’s degree preferred. Comparable experience and training may be considered.
Experience: Experience in clinical informatics and certification eligible preferred. Advanced user of MS Office applications. Project management skills.
Licensure/Credentials: Washington State Registered Nurse or other licensure as appropriate to clinical background.
