- Schedule/Shift/Hours: Part Time - Evenings
Performs diagnostic tests to help physicians diagnose and treat cardiac conditions.
Responsibilities
- Performs electrocardiograms according to established policies and procedures
- Demonstrates sound technical skills in operating all equipment and in obtaining optimal test results
- Provides data for diagnosis of cardiovascular disorders
- Prepares and maintains treatment rooms and equipment, keeping the rooms stocked and clean
- Performs a variety of tasks
- Typically reports to a supervisor or manager
- Performs other related duties as assigned
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field
- Regular and predictable attendance is an essential job function
- Competent to meet age specific needs of the unit assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Demonstrated ability to read cardiac arrhythmias
- Successful completion of Cardiac Rhythm Interpretation course within six months of hire required
- Previous patient care experience required
- BLS required
