Job Description:
MLR Healthcare is looking for a skilled Surge Tech to join our team for the day shift. In this role, you will assist surgeons during procedures, prepare and maintain the operating room, and ensure a sterile environment. This position includes a competitive salary and a generous sign-on bonus.
Responsibilities:
- Assist surgeons by passing instruments and supplies during procedures
- Prepare and maintain the operating room before, during, and after surgeries
- Ensure all surgical equipment is sterilized and functioning properly
- Work collaboratively with the surgical team to deliver efficient patient care
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Applied Science Surgical Technology from an accredited program
- Indiana License as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Certified Surgical Technology Certification within 6 months of hire
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to stay calm under pressure and manage tasks effectively
