Cardiology Associates of Schenectady, an established Cardiology practice, is seeking to recruit a motivated and compassionate Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our team in Amsterdam, New York. Our practice is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care, and we offer access to sub-specialty services to ensure our patients receive the best possible care.
Responsibilities:
- Provide outpatient cardiology care to adults of all ages (425 Guy Park Ave, Amsterdam, NY office)
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations, assessments, and diagnostic tests
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with our team of cardiologists
- Perform hospital rounding at St. Mary's Hospital in Amsterdam
- Educate patients and their families about cardiac conditions, treatment options, and preventative measures
Requirements:
- NYS licensure as a Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP)
- DEA certification
- Board Certification
- ACLS/BLS certification
- 1-2 years of experience working in a Cardiology or Acute Care setting preferred, however new graduates are encouraged to apply.

RECRUITMENT PACKAGE
St. Peter's Health Partners offers a comprehensive salary and compensation package that includes:
- Competitive salary with incentives
- Competitive Salary of $118,000-139,000
- The posted salary reflects the starting range of the total compensation and does not include incentives related to quality and performance, extra shift incentives, and other forms of cash compensation as applicable to the position. In addition, providers typically receive a CME allowance and other benefits offered by their medical group employer. Please note that this salary range is provided in accordance with State law and is subject to variation due to the factors noted above.
- Sign-On Bonus $15,000
