Provides and documents professional nursing care to patients in accordance with the medical plan of care, critical pathways, established SRH and Nursing Policies/Procedures/Protocols, and Standards of Care.
Assists Director with defined charge nurse duties. Works coordinating and delegating care with/to other professionals and ancillary personnel. Communicates findings as indicated to appropriate person(s).
Serves as a resource person for other SRH/nursing personnel to resolve work-related issues. Performs any other job-related duties as requested by Supervisor or Department Director.
Minimum Requirements:
- Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in South Carolina.
- Recent clinical experience required.
- Experience as a charge nurse required.
- Possesses leadership, communication, organizational, planning, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrates clinical competency in specialty.
- BSN required or must obtain within two years of hire.
