Job Title: Mammography Technologist
Location: Waco, TX
Shift: 12-Hour Days (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
Shifts per Week: 3 (36 scheduled hours)
Hourly Rate: Up to $41
Job Overview:
We are seeking a full-time Mammography Technologist to join our Breast Center team. In this role, you will perform high-quality breast imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety and satisfaction. You will be responsible for maintaining equipment, adhering to safety protocols, and providing excellent patient care. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality breast imaging procedures following exam protocols in a timely manner.
- Communicate effectively with patients, explaining procedures and ensuring they are comfortable.
- Prepare patients and equipment for procedures, adjust positioning and exposure controls, and follow established safety protocols.
- Maintain equipment and the work environment, ensuring cleanliness and functionality.
- Verify and document relevant patient information, including requisitions, history, and consent forms.
- Adhere to all infection control, radiation safety, and drug protocols.
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring patient satisfaction and addressing any concerns.
- Serve as a preceptor for new team members, offering training and support.

Qualifications:
- Education: Graduate of an accredited program.
- Licensure/Certification:
- ARRT-M Mammography certification required.
