Job Summary
Provides direct patient care to pediatric through geriatric populations. Addresses the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care related to the surgical environment. Communicates with surgeon and anesthesia Provider continuously and as needed about patient condition. Assists with the maintenance of surgical equipment and inventory. Participates in performance improvement activities. Assesses operating room for equipment functioning and readiness, obtains supplies for individual cases and ensures all appropriate needs of surgical operating team are met. Monitors, positions, and assists patient during procedure. May assist surgeon during operative and invasive procedures. Ensures operating suite is adequately prepared for procedure. Monitors PAR level of all surgical instruments and supplies. Cleans and sterilizes all surgical instruments. Participates in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities.
Education and/or Experience Requirements
Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
Valid license as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Washington.
Current AHA Healthcare Provider training (BCLS).
Previous experience in patient care setting preferred.
Knowledgeable regarding the nursing process and its application, including the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care.
Licensure & Certifications Requirements
Must have current Washington license as a Registered Nurse or LPN. Must have BLS at hire or within 30 days of employment and ACLS, PALS, and NRP within 6 months of hire.

Pay Range
$40.02-$74.04
