Location
Our client is located in Prosser, Washington, a small town about 20 minutes away from the Tri-Cities. Dubbed as the “Birthplace of Washington Wine Industry”, Prosser has mostly sunny days and mild weather. It hosts many community events such as the Farmer Market, the Great Balloon Rally, the Beer and Whiskey Festival, and the Scottish Fest. Prosser has many family-friendly activities, sports, and good schools. If you enjoy the outdoors, you can escape to the Cascade Mountains, Mt. Rainer, or Mt. Hood for camping, skiing, and hiking. Enjoy fishing, water-skiing, and windsurfing in the nearby Columbia River!
Practice Overview
Our client is a full-service animal hospital that offers routine medical, surgical, and dental care as well as treating emergency cases. They also offer routine medical, surgical, and dental care. Beyond first-rate pet care, they make their clinic comfortable and kid-friendly, with a warm, calming setting. Their facility is equipped with three exam rooms, a surgery room, digital x-ray, ultrasound, and a full in-house laboratory to provide efficient, effective care to our patients. Their team treats each other like family, and they strive to help each member of their team achieve their goals.
What You’ll Be Working On
- Build and maintain client relationships
- Diagnose, treat and manage a variety of small animal cases
- Perform a wide range of services and surgeries
- Provide education to clients and staff on healthcare plans
- Maintain a positive work environment
- Participate in community activities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Guide, utilize and mentor All-Star support staff
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from an accredited program is required
- Be licensed or able to be licensed in the state of Washington
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a Veterinarian preferred; open to new graduates
- Able to perform ultrasound and dental radiography preferred
- Interest in ownership is a plus
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
