Baker County Medical Services, Inc., is seeking a Laboratory Supervisor for Ed Fraser Memorial Hospital.
Any Candidate applying for this position must hold a Medical Technologist License and have a minimum of 3 years of laboratory experience and 2 years of supervisory experience.
Essential Functions
- Provide medical laboratory diagnostic and therapeutic information, products, and services.
- Implement new programs, tests, methods, and instrumentation.
- Establish quality standards to maintain medical laboratory equipment performance.
- Maintain medical laboratory productivity by monitoring the workload of functional areas.
- Achieve quality results by participating in the hospital quality assurance program.
- Maintain medical laboratory staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
- Council and discipline employees as needed to achieve productivity and goals.
- Comply with state and professional continuing education licensure requirements.
- Maintain annual budget and inventory.
- Prepare monthly activity reports reflecting work volume, procedures, and output results.
- Foster constructive relationships within the laboratory and with other departments.
- Conduct competency assessments and performance appraisals.
Professional Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years proven experience in a leadership role within a high complexity hospital lab setting.
- ASCP/AAB MT Certification.
Salary: Competitive and based on experience and education.

Pay: From $84,000.00 per year.
