The Director is the designated leader for all Surgical Services. The position is responsible for the patient population and assigned staff. The Director plans, organizes, directs, coordinates, and evaluates the unit activities. The position provides direction, support, and guidance to the Nursing staff and aids in their development both clinically and professionally. There is 24-hour accountability of Surgical Services.
