Overview
Novant Health is seeking a highly skilled pharmacist to serve as a leader in its Outpatient Oncology space in the Coastal Market. The Coastal region of Novant Health currently consists of several hospitals as well as 2 outpatient oncology infusion centers. In November 2024, a 3rd outpatient infusion space (Scott’s Hill MOB) will open. The Zimmer Cancer Center (ZCC) and Brunswick Forest sites are primarily oncology-focused, seeing around 90 patients and 30 patients a day, respectively. It is expected that the new Scott’s Hill MOB will have 16 oncology infusion chairs and 10 non-oncology chairs.
The Oncology Manager (OIM) will work with other personnel within and outside of the Pharmacy Department to ensure maintenance of best practices and will maintain a physical office at the Zimmer Cancer Center in Wilmington, North Carolina. This position will be responsible for 19 FTEs. Other responsibilities include oversight of patient care services, operations, and financial stewardship.

Qualifications
- Education: 4 Year/Bachelors Degree-(Pharmacy) or Pharm D, required. Pharm D, preferred.
- Experience: Minimum two years hospital pharmacist and/or one year successful supervisory/management experience, required. At least two years clinical pharmacy practice with supervisory experience, preferred.
- Licensure/Certification: PGY2 Oncology preferred. Licensed to practice pharmacy in the applicable state(s) and in good standing with the state board of Pharmacy(is), required.
- Additional Skills (required): Applicants must have graduated from an ACPE-accredited College of Pharmacy, have completed a PGY1 residency with significant oncology experience (or equivalent) or a PGY2 Oncology residency, and be eligible for North Carolina licensure. Board Certification is highly recommended and previous leadership experience is preferred.
