CVOR Surgery Technologist - Sign-on Offered!

Up to $10,000 Sign-On Bonus with Two-Year Commitment.

Role:

Join our OR team as a crucial member, handling the scrub position during surgeries. Ensure a safe, sterile environment in line with AORN Standards and hospital policies.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide exceptional service to patients, visitors, and staff, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
Support co-workers proactively and display a caring, patient demeanor.
Communicate effectively across departments, fostering hospital goals.
Serve as a mentor, encouraging professional growth among Surgical Technologists and Central Processing technicians.
Master various surgical procedures, equipment, and instruments, maintaining a clean and safe work area.
Adhere to legal and professional standards, seeking guidance when necessary.
Manage surgical instruments and maintain sterile conditions.
Participate in training new staff and contribute to team learning.
Address emergency situations with precision and professionalism.
Engage in continuous personal and professional development, including attending staff meetings and educational sessions.

Position Requirements:

COVID-19 vaccination required, except for approved exemptions.
Graduate from an accredited Surgical Technology program.
Current Washington State Surgical Technologist registration.
Obtain National Certification within one year; maintain certification.
CVOR experience preferred.
LPN candidates with scrub experience considered.
CPR certification required, with annual recertification.
Basic computer skills necessary.
