SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Registered Radiologic Technologist is responsible for performing radiology procedures in accordance with clinicians' orders, exam protocols, and instructions. The technologist instructs patients regarding procedures to ensure cooperation and optimum test results, assesses and interprets patient data, and identifies age-specific care requirements. They maintain equipment, examination rooms, and follow safety standards and HIPAA regulations. The technologist collaborates with the care team, follows aseptic procedures, and provides technical services as assigned.
Requirements:
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Licenses/Certificates: ARRT and MRT registration, CPR certification for Health Care Providers.
- Experience: Minimum two (2) years as an ARRT and MRT Registered Technologist, CT experience required.
- Skills: Proficiency in operating Radiology Equipment, effective communication, knowledge of safety standards, ability to work independently, organizational skills, and maintaining competence through training.
