Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- ASCP certification preferred, not required
- Prior lab experience and knowledge
- Must have 2-5 years relevant leadership experience
Job Summary
- Must have an understanding of reference lab testing; managing samples that are being sent out
- Highly involved in ensuring the department meets goals, project management, quality assurance, inspection readiness, administrative functions, recruitment, budgeting, finance, and talent acquisition
- Good understanding of specimen management and processing
- Leadership experience as a manager or supervisor in a clinical laboratory (minimum of 2 years)
- Experience with regulatory inspections such as CAP and/or JCHO
- Experience managing a team
