CT Technologist
As a CT Technologist you will perform technical diagnostic CT imaging procedures.
Lakeside Hospital is a collaboration between CHI St. Luke’s Health and a team of specialized physicians focused on cardiology, interventional cardiology, sports medicine, orthopedics including total joint replacement, and spine care in The Woodlands community. As the only hospital in Montgomery County to offer sports medicine as a major service line, Lakeside Hospital provides inpatient and outpatient care including diagnostic imaging such as MRI, CT, and nuclear medicine.
Position Summary:
Operates diagnostic equipment and performs a variety of technical diagnostic imaging procedures related to CT. Provides patient orientation, procedure explanation, and pre and post diagnostic care to completion of the test. Performs complete diagnostic imaging tests inclusive of positioning patients, calibration of equipment, and documentation of findings, with the direction of the imaging supervisor/manager. Assists patients with basic patient care needs.
Every day you will review and verify physician’s orders, perform CT exams, communicate with and involve patients in the diagnostic test, and start patient IVs.

Qualifications
To thrive in this role you must have:
- HS diploma or GED; Associate’s Degree Preferred
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists – ARRT (R) (CT) obtained within nine months upon hire; must maintain current certification by Texas Department of Health as a Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist – MRT; must maintain current CPR/BLS certification; CT license may be obtained within nine months of moving into the role.
- Preferred - One (1) year of experience as a radiographer or one (1) year of radiography clinical rotation experience in a healthcare setting
