We celebrate diverse thinking and welcome contributions from all.What part would you play in this role?As a Medical Assistant, you will be cross-trained and responsible for performing routine and basic front and back-office duties. These duties will include answering phones, data entry, assisting in the examination process of patients, interviewing patients, measuring vital signs and recording information on patients’ charts, drawing and collecting blood samples and/or urine samples from patients, preparing specimens for laboratory analysis, and conducting a variety of diagnostic tests.You must have:
- One of the following: Medical Assistant, RN, LVN, LPN Diploma or EMT Certification or experience as a Military Medic or Hospital Corpsman.
- 0-1 year of medical assistant experience.
- Experience in Occupational Medicine clinic, General Medical, Internal Medicine work environment preferred.
- A valid CPR/ BLS certification
- A medical clearance that consists of passing an N95 respirator fit test, pass a Tuberculosis/TB test and receive a Hepatitis A/B vaccine series or pass a Hepatitis A/B Titer test.
Typical Day:
- Initial training is 3 weeks long- possible travel during training.
Pay and Benefits:Hourly Rates are based on experience and education.
