Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and families, providing psychotherapy and counseling services. This role involves assessing patient needs, developing treatment plans, and implementing effective therapeutic interventions. The Therapist will work collaboratively with families to promote positive behavioral changes and improve overall mental health outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments to determine the mental health needs of children and families.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
- Provide psychotherapy and counseling services to children and their families in a supportive environment.
- Utilize behavior management techniques to assist clients in achieving their therapeutic goals.
- Collect and maintain accurate data on patient progress, treatment outcomes, and case management activities.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.
- Stay informed about current best practices in child family counseling and psychotherapy.
Experience
- Proven experience working with children in a therapeutic setting is essential.
- Familiarity with data collection methods and case management practices is preferred.
- Knowledge of behavior management strategies and techniques is a plus.
- Understanding of ICD-10 coding for mental health diagnoses is beneficial.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are required for effective patient care.
- A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards in all interactions is crucial.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
