About the Role: Soliant Education is seeking a qualified and dedicated School Psychologist for a full-time, on-site position in Scituate, RI. This role involves working with students from kindergarten through 12th grade, providing essential psychological services to support their academic, social, and emotional development. The ideal candidate will be committed to fostering a positive and inclusive educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for K-12 students.
- Provide individual and group counseling to support students' mental health and emotional well-being.
- Develop and implement effective intervention plans and strategies.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to create and execute support plans for students.
- Participate in the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and attend IEP meetings as needed.
- Offer crisis intervention and support, addressing urgent psychological needs.
Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist license for the state of Rhode Island.
- Experience working with students across all K-12 grade levels.
- Strong skills in assessment, counseling, and intervention.
- Ability to work collaboratively with students, families, and educational teams.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
