ABOUT YOUR NEW ROLE:
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Theatre leader to join our professional, experienced and dynamic team in our brand-new theatre complex! In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for commissioning 6 NEW theatres and the day-to-day operational management of the Theatre department while working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to maintain a customer-focused approach to delivering exceptional care.
The successful candidate will work closely with their Surgical Services Manager to ensure Key Performance Indicators are met, strategic objectives are delivered, and business growth is achieved. This role will be full time working 38 hours per week and will be pivotal in the delivery of outstanding Theatre Services.

ABOUT YOU:
As an outstanding Theatre Nurse Unit Manager, you are a Registered Nurse with AHPRA, an experienced leader in a Theatre setting for at least 2 years, and have post-graduate qualifications or are working towards them. Your skills and roles will include:
- Providing overall management of the Theatre unit to maximise effective business and patient outcomes.
- 2 years minimum management experience.
- Establishing, developing and maintaining effective relationships with staff, customers, Visiting Medical Practitioners (VMPs), patients, families and significant others.
- Providing direction, support and advice to nursing staff and other support personnel.
- Developing and maintaining a budget and interpreting performance data for reporting purposes.
