Description
- Summary: Performs routine, standardized biological/biochemical test procedures and analyzes results of test, to assist the physician in the diagnosis/clinical management of patients; collaborates with Physicians/Lab Director on patient data; provides age-specific treatment/care, based on the principles of growth/development.

Requirements
- Successful completion of medical laboratory technology program and/or equivalent education, training, and/or experience, unless waived by CLIA. Registered or registry eligible.
- Demonstrated computer skills.
- Verbal ability required understanding written and verbal instructions.
- Excellent communication skills necessary to deal with people from varying backgrounds, in a professional, courteous manner.
- Technical knowledge and skills are necessary to perform procedures efficiently.
- Mathematical skills are required to perform various calculations.
- Clerical perception is necessary to detect errors, prepare records accurately, and to organize and maintain daily workflow.
- Motor coordination and finger dexterity are necessary to operate equipment.
Physical Requirements: Work is of light demand. Routine lifting requirements of less than 50 pounds. Standing, sitting, walking, bending, and reaching required. Exposure to hazardous infectious biological specimens and caustic reagents. Works inside.
