Position Summary:The Nurse Manager will oversee our Ambulatory Pulmonary, Sleep, Infectious Disease, Nephrology & e-Health locations [20], with approximately 64 clinical staff.
Develops and sustains an environment that supports excellence in clinical practice and the care of patients within an assigned service line across all RRH affiliates. Plans and directs clinical practice for a systematized Specialty Medicine and Surgery Service Line. Works collaboratively with operational leadership and physician leadership to develop budgets based on volumes and scope of practice. Develops nursing guidelines and standards for the delivery of care. Focuses on customer service as it relates to patients, visitors, family members, staff and physicians including working collaboratively with other disciplines to ensure an efficient, team approach to the delivery of patient care. Responsible for service line quality and performance improvement initiatives, medication management, risk management, infection prevention and regulatory preparedness. Collaborates with Directors of Nursing and Director of Quality to provide quality review activities. Guides assigned areas in utilization of recognized improvement tools, data analysis and outcome measures.

Minimum Qualifications: - BSN Degree required, MSN preferred
- Minimum of 3 years nursing experience
- Previous nursing leadership highly preferred
- NYS RN License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
RESPONSIBILITIES- Leadership & Management. Assume responsibility for overseeing nursing and non-nursing personnel on a unit; function as a unit leader with the ability to act as a resource (both clinically and non-clinically) for nursing personnel, physicians and providers; delegate appropriate responsibilities to assigned nurses and ancillary personnel; assess clinical expertise of nursing personnel, monitor assignments and provide feedback and documentation
- General Management. Perform daily leader rounding and assure team members are regularly rounding on all patients; develop programs and strategies to monitor the quality of patient care and patient outcomes; assist Nurse Manager in developing and implementing long-term staffing pattern, personnel needs, budget negotiation and recruitment plan
EDUCATION: PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS: - BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association (AHA)

PAY RANGE: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00
