Do you have a passion for people? At Newton Medical Center we are proud to set an award-winning standard for healthcare and need a Registered Nurse (RN) for our Family Birth Center. In this role, you will have the opportunity to assist moms and babies through the labor and delivery process, recovery, and postpartum care; as well as care for infants in our special care unit.
In this role, you will join our team of dedicated and talented healthcare professionals and play a critical role in the delivery of comprehensive assessments of our patient and family needs, planning, coordinating, teaching, counseling, and providing direct physical care. If you are a highly professional RN who is comfortable reassuring families and communicating with doctors, as well as tending to the needs of your patients, we strongly encourage you to apply. This is a full-time position 3a-3p.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and experience:
- ADN/BSN degree from an ACEN or CCNE accredited school of nursing or diploma in nursing required.
Licensure, registration, and certification:
- Current Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Kansas.
- Certification in CPR/Basic Life Support.
- Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support recommended.
