Hourly Rate: Up to $33.75, depending on experience and qualifications
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our Cath Lab team. In this role, you will perform diagnostic imaging and assist in various procedures within the Cath Lab. You will play a critical role in ensuring high-quality imaging, patient care, and providing support to the healthcare team. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform radiologic procedures in accordance with established standards and practices.
- Operate diagnostic imaging equipment, ensuring the production of high-quality images for physicians to review.
- Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring they are positioned correctly and comfortably.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including the results of diagnostic procedures.
- Follow proper radiation safety protocols and use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
- Assist in Cath Lab procedures, providing imaging support and monitoring equipment as needed.
- Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care.
Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree or graduation from an accredited School of Radiologic Technology required.
- Licensed by the Kansas Board of Healing Arts as a Radiologic Technologist required.
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- 1 year of Radiologic Technologist experience preferred.
- Prior experience in a Cath Lab setting preferred but not required.
