Case Manager (Paralegal Profile)
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
We’re seeking a dedicated Case Manager with at least 2-3 years of experience, preferably with a background in law, paralegal services, or account management. The ideal candidate will be comfortable at the intersection of client management and legal processes, with strong English skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients. A basic understanding of the French language is highly desirable. This role is currently envisioned to be remote, but for someone who spends over 75% of their time in one location. Preference will be given to candidates in NYC, Minneapolis/Saint Paul (MN), or Luxembourg.
SCOPE:
This role will start out as a part time role paid an hourly rate with a weekly minimum commitment of 20 hours and a cap of 30, depending on the workload. This role can be assessed for full time status upon request by the selected candidate after 90 days successful integration into the role.
MORE ABOUT YOU:
You have 2-3 years of experience working with clients in English, managing detailed projects, and overseeing legal or paralegal processes. You have a mind for the rules and how they should be followed in the context of nationality and immigration. As a Case Manager, you will handle day-to-day client interactions, update our process management tools, produce documentation, and ensure that our online file management system is up-to-date and well-organized. Additionally, you will be responsible for taking our 30-minute telephone or zoom consultation calls with prospective clients, in which you will walk them through the application process and answer their basic questions about the process. Therefore, you should be comfortable speaking on the phone. Additionally, because our business is extremely technology-driven, you should consider yourself a digital native or have the necessary tools to run operations effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and organize client cases, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
- Conduct inbound client consultations to review processes, rules, and requirements before they sign up.
- Communicate daily with clients to provide updates, gather necessary information, and respond to inquiries.
- Maintain our project management system, keeping track of client progress and internal workflows.
- Assist with the preparation of legal documents and ensure they meet all necessary guidelines and standards.
- Collaborate with the broader team to support business development and operational tasks as needed.
- Work independently and proactively manage your time to meet deadlines.
- Upon receipt of the client’s physical application, put together a compliant citizenship application and/or contact the client for more information.
YOU SHOULD APPLY IF:
- You have a background in law, paralegal services, customer success, and/or account management.
- You are highly organized and detail-oriented.
- You possess a good sense of humor, are a team player, and can thrive in a remote work environment as an independent contributor.
- You are proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Docs, and Gmail/Outlook.
- Knowledge of WordPress, Gravity Forms, Zapier, or other website backend management systems is a plus.
- Basic understanding of the French language is a serious advantage.
- You have an interest in international relations, travel, Europe, languages, living/moving abroad, or genealogy.

Other Information:
Compensation will be based on hourly billing rate with commission incentives based on the client phone calls. Initially, this role is offered as a contractor engagement. US persons can negotiate the possibility of an employment-based contract.
