Wage Range: $17.60 – $24.25 dependent on certification
Work hours are between 7 am and 5:30 pm dependent on the position and patient needs. Some positions may work on a Saturday rotation with hours between 7 am and 12 pm.

Responsibilities:
As our Optician, you will assist and educate patients in appropriate selection of optical goods for patient’s needs.
What You’ll Do Every Day
- Take necessary measurements
- Process orders, post charges, and enter insurance into the computer system
- Dispense optical goods, as well as perform repairs & adjustments
- Assist with contact lens teachings
- Assist with inventory control, and answer department telephones
Qualifications & Skills Needed:
- High school graduate
- Optical experience
- ABO certification is not mandatory, but opticians are encouraged to obtain certification
- Adapt and fit corrective eyewear, including eyeglasses and contact lenses as prescribed
- Excellent communication, attention to detail, and customer service skills
- Optical knowledge to educate patients regarding availability/use of optical products
- Computer skills
