Job Description
The Pediatrician is responsible for the primary healthcare of children. The Pediatrician proceeds independently in the care and treatment of patients within the scope of practice defined and agreed to by medicine, nursing, and administration. The Pediatrician remains responsible for the patient throughout the course of treatment, provides the physical examination, the diagnosis, and the healthcare plan, determines when the client has recovered and releases the client. The Pediatrician may refer the client to physicians for consultation or to specialized health resources for treatment but retains responsibility for clinical management as well as any subsequent modification.
Responsibilities:
- Provide primary healthcare for children.
- Conduct physical examinations and diagnose health conditions.
- Develop and implement healthcare plans.
- Monitor patient recovery and make necessary modifications to treatment.
- Refer clients to specialists as needed while maintaining clinical management responsibility.

Qualifications:
- Current National Board Certification in Internal Medicine or eligible.
- Arizona State license to practice as Medicine as a Physician.
- Effective verbal, written, and electronic communication skills.
- Outstanding organization skills and ability to multi-task.
- Initiative, creativity, problem-solving ability, adaptability, and flexibility.
- Ability to collaborate with professional colleagues as necessary to provide quality care.
- Ability to consistently present a friendly, welcoming, and professional public-facing demeanor.
- Ability to provide culturally sensitive services.
- Must have or be able to obtain valid Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card.
- Must possess reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and proof of auto insurance.
- Basic Life Support trained or the ability to be trained within 90 days of hire date.
- Covid-19 Vaccination or Qualified Exemption (Religious or Medical).
- TB Screening Record and PPD/QuantiFERON/Chest x-ray as applicable upon hire.
