Job Summary
We're looking for someone with 5-10 years of experience as a Development Manager, proficient in Agile methodologies and certified as a Scrum Professional. You'll be leading our development team, managing projects using JIRA, and ensuring smooth delivery of our software products.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a Scrum Master for the development team, ensuring the team adheres to Scrum principles and Agile practices.
- Facilitate daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, sprint review, and sprint retrospective meetings to promote team collaboration and productivity.
- Manage the JIRA board, maintaining accurate and up-to-date project information, user stories, and sprint planning.
- Work closely with the product owner to prioritize and groom the product backlog.
- Monitor and track team progress, removing impediments and addressing roadblocks to ensure successful sprint delivery.
- Mentor and guide the development team in Agile methodologies and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project goals and objectives.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team, seeking ways to enhance efficiency and deliver high-quality software products.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the development team, promoting a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Ensure transparency and effective communication within the team and with stakeholders.
Qualifications
You'll have...
- Proven experience as a Development Manager in a software development environment.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification is required.
- Strong proficiency in using JIRA and other Agile management tools.
- In-depth knowledge of Agile methodologies, Scrum framework, and best practices.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and leadership skills.
- Ability to resolve conflicts and promote team productivity.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is a plus.
