This role can be performed remotely or in a hybrid model from our York, PA, or Jacksonville, FL offices.
Summary/Objective:
The Senior Project Manager is a seasoned professional who specializes in advising and guiding organizations in optimizing their supply chain operations. This role involves providing strategic insights, developing tailored solutions, and collaborating with clients to enhance overall supply chain efficiency and effectiveness. This individual should have a comprehensive understanding of supply chain operations, industry trends, and has a proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex projects.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Analyst data training.
- Serve as a reference for Engineers.
- Possible supervision of an Analyst on larger or more complex projects.
Education Requirement:
- 10+ years of experience in managing and/or consulting for supply chain operations, including but not limited to Surgery, Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology, and Central Sterile operations.
- Minimum of Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering, Healthcare Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain Management or related discipline. An MBA is highly preferred.
Computer Skills:
- Strong analytical experience related to complex supply chain resources and plant operations.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with clients to understand their unique supply chain challenges, goals, and operational requirements.
- Collaborate closely with client teams to assess operations and identify improvement opportunities.
- Lead and manage supply chain improvement projects from initiation to completion through direct oversight and guidance of project team members.
- Develop and communicate project objectives, scope, timelines, and deliverables.
- Foster effective communication and cooperation among team members to achieve project success.
- Implement data-driven and innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Identify and pursue follow-on project work through project excellence.
Work Environment:
Primarily a controlled office environment. Client sites could consist of hospital environments or warehouse operations, and conditions may vary. Travel may be required and could be extensive at times, with occasional overnight travel via various modes of transportation, including automobiles, planes, and buses.
Physical Demands:
Client site visits may entail walking tours through the hospital support service and patient care areas. Projects may entail lifting materials up to 50 lbs. Extensive travel may be required at times; overnight travel via various modes of transportation, including automobiles, planes, trains, and buses.
Travel Requirements:
Travel is client dependent and typically ranges from 30-50%. Travel will vary from project to project. Travel may be extensive at times and less extensive at other times. Travel may be local car travel, regional train travel, or domestic or international air travel.
