Job Title: Family Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
Outpatient Behavioral Healthcare Practice that offers treatment and counseling services for mental health and addiction issues is looking to add an experienced Family Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to their outstanding behavioral healthcare team which includes psychiatrist, psychologist, nurse practitioners, licensed clinicians, therapist and caring support staff.
Group provides a variety of treatment approaches designed to meet the needs of each individual, using the diverse educational background, skills and expertise of their clinicians.
Responsibilities:
- Provide psychiatric evaluations and medication management to a diverse patient population ranging from children through adults.
- Diagnose, treat, evaluate and manage acute and chronic mental illnesses.
- Obtain relevant medical and social histories and conduct physical examinations.
- Prescribe medications in accordance with all state and federal laws and regulations.
- Meet with patients for regular follow-up appointments to monitor medication effectiveness and make necessary adjustments.
Monday – Friday work schedule; No night or weekend hours required. Competitive compensation and benefits package including productivity bonus compensation.
