Position Overview:

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Behavior Technicians:
- Assistance in conducting functional behavior assessments and functional analysis
- Intensive ABA teaching strategies
- Community-based instruction
- Functional life skills training
- Vocational training
- Majority of services provided in clinic; occasionally school and/or home
- Physical demands may require lifting, kneeling, bending, etc.
Qualifications:
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification: You must be a certified RBT or willing to become certified within a reasonable timeframe.
- Passion for Working with Children: We are looking for individuals who genuinely care about the well-being and development of children and are committed to their success.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Effective communication with students, parents, and colleagues is crucial in this role.
- Patience and Empathy: Children with developmental challenges require patience, understanding, and empathy. Your ability to connect with them on a personal level is essential.
- Flexibility: A willingness to adapt to the unique needs of each child and the ability to think creatively to find solutions to challenges.
- The ability to cope with the pressures of dealing with clients in crisis.
