Position Overview:

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Behavior Technicians:

Assistance in conducting functional behavior assessments and functional analysis
Intensive ABA teaching strategies
Community-based instruction
Functional life skills training
Vocational training
Majority of services provided in clinic; occasionally school and/or home
Physical demands may require lifting, kneeling, bending, etc.

Qualifications:

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification: You must be a certified RBT or willing to become certified within a reasonable timeframe.
Passion for Working with Children: We are looking for individuals who genuinely care about the well-being and development of children and are committed to their success.
Excellent Communication Skills: Effective communication with students, parents, and colleagues is crucial in this role.
Patience and Empathy: Children with developmental challenges require patience, understanding, and empathy. Your ability to connect with them on a personal level is essential.
Flexibility: A willingness to adapt to the unique needs of each child and the ability to think creatively to find solutions to challenges.
The ability to cope with the pressures of dealing with clients in crisis.
