Responsibilities:
- Develop trusted relationships across a portfolio of major Life Science client(s) to ensure that they are actively engaged with Quantiphi
- Develop trusted advisor relationships with key customer stakeholders and executive sponsors by displaying good understanding of Life Sciences value chain and business workflows
- As an Account Manager, you are an expert at contributing to different phases of the Sales lifecycle and will be intensely involved in business development in key accounts
- Client relationship management and new business development – managing relationships with key client personnel and CXOs and CXO -1, within the client organization and ability to understand the organizational culture of the client
- Expand the relationships with existing customers by regularly proposing solutions that align with their strategy and/or meet their immediate objectives
- Acquire a thorough understanding of key customer goals, needs and requirements
- Act as the main point of contact in all matters relating to client concerns and needs
- Generate new sales that support overall account growth
- Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet performance criteria
- Facilitate the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
- Address any issues and/or problems faced by customers and deal with complaints to maintain trust and client satisfaction
Basic Qualifications:
- Demonstrable experience of minimum 7 years as an account manager/executive or related roles in an Information Technology services/consultancy company (must have)
- Demonstrable experience of a minimum of 5 years working in an Information Technology services/consultancy company selling to Lifesciences/Pharmaceutical Industry (must have)
- Must have current or past experience managing Pharma accounts selling technology solutions preferably in the Cloud, Data and AI space
- Excellent understanding of the Life Sciences/Pharma industry domain (must have)
- Demonstrable experience in technical sales and solutions based on customer needs, especially in the areas of cloud, data and artificial intelligence (must have)
- Demonstrable ability to professionally communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level
- Excellent organizational, communication and presentation abilities
- C-level clients engagement experience
- Proven track record on spearheading sales cycles and negotiating contracts all the way to SoW stage
- Experience forecasting and tracking account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
- Strong interpersonal skills with an aptitude for building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels
- Ability to travel 50% of the time
Other Qualifications:
- Previous experience in selling and/or managing AI/ML/GenAI type of solutions is a big plus
- Experience in consultative selling of professional services and solutions
- Strong communication, facilitation and presentation skills
- Strong entrepreneurial skills to manage the overall account like a business including selling, delivery and hire/manage talent relevant to client delivery
