We are looking for a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join our team in Lake City, FL. We are a busy, but friendly, practice that offers a wide range of veterinary services. We are looking for someone who is passionate about veterinary medicine and is committed to providing excellent care for our patients.
The ideal candidate will have a DVM degree and be licensed to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Florida. They will also have experience in a variety of clinical settings. The successful candidate will be a team player who is able to work independently and as part of a team. They will also be able to communicate effectively with clients and staff.
Responsibilities of the Associate Veterinarian will include:
- Performing physical examinations and diagnostic tests on animals
- Diagnosing and treating illnesses and injuries
- Prescribing medications and treatments
- Performing surgery
- Educating clients about pet care
- Maintaining patient records
