Medical/Surgical/Telemetry (MS1)
- 18 private rooms
- Nursing ratio of 4 or 5:1
- Patient conditions include:
- Cardiac diseases
- Non-ST elevated myocardial infarction (NSTEMI)
- Post-cath lab care
- Acute cerebrovascular accident (CVA) without use of thrombolytics
- Transient ischemia attack (TIA)
- DVT/PE
- Alcohol and drug withdrawal
- Respiratory failure
- Pneumonia
- COPD Exacerbation
- GI bleed
Seasonal Temporary Program Guidelines – Housing Assistance
- Preferred: RNs with a minimum of one year experience in the relevant department.
- Commitment of a minimum of 4 to 24 week blocks of scheduled availability.
- Salary: $65.00 per hour (flat rate).
- All hours worked are straight time or overtime if greater than 40 hours per week; positions are full-time (36-40 hours/week).
- Vacations and time off arranged before and after contract dates.
- Holiday pay applies for working approved Summit Healthcare holidays.
- Seasonal employees may be flexed or placed on standby for low census.
- Housing assistance available up to $1,200 per month (case by case basis).
- Summit Healthcare reserves the right to terminate contracts with 14 days' notice if staffing needs change.
- Contracts may be adjusted or extended based on departmental needs.
Minimum Requirements:
- RN License - required
- BLS Certification and unit-specific certifications required upon hire
- 1+ years acute care experience required
